Hot stamping specialist KURZ developed a new process to apply metal foils in digital printing. This makes it possible to realize individual silver, gold and holographic effects at a reasonable cost, even for a lot size of 1. Tribecraft supported KURZ in designing a comprehensive business model which unites procedure, machine, consumables, service, and corresponding manage-ment software into a proprietary system. The developed pay-per-stamp model offers attractive benefits for KURZ, printers and last but not least end customers as well.
